Dusit Zoo, Bangkok
I took my niece there early this year, take lot of her photo with animal. This is only one photo I have without people in the scene.
Quite a good zoo. Children will probably love it as it has the usual guests: tigers, giraffes, hippos and the rest. The elephants were as you can imagine quite popular.
There is as well a lake where you can rent one of those waterboats with pedals and pedal for half an hour ( 50 baths the 1/2 hour) and see the gardens. In the lake there are fish, alligators and turtles. Careful not to run them over ;-)
The access to the zoo is really cheap, 30 baths per person and as I said children will love it and it won't break the bank. The grounds used to be originally the private botanical gardens of king Rama V and you can see still the different species of flora cultivated here.

King Naresuan the Great, The King who dared to change the destiny of a Nation
I don't know myself either why I take this monument at the backside, probably I have weired mind that time as most of monument is shown only front side. It is monument of King Naresuan the Great, which is located in Phetchaburi Province inside army camp. It is large army camp for paratrooper.
King Naresuan the Great was King of Ayutthaya kingdom from 1590 until his death in 1605. Naresuan was one of Siam's most revered monarchs as he was known for his campaigns to free Siam from Burmese tributary.
We made film about him to, you can see here. It is very good film, and great production.

Gander Love Goose
Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan
I select this to be my debut of Thailand-In-Photos blog, only because it is located in my hometown. This is very famous temple in Thailand. The present chapel (ubosot) is a new, beautiful, and gigantic building which has replaced the old one. The chapel actually depicts the style of the applied Rattanakosin period.
Thanks to Gordon, publisher of Adelaide in Photos, who inspired me of putting photo of my country.
